Wilhelmina (Mina) Abolt, 81, Rt. 4, Veedersburg, (Stone Bluff) died at Tall Trees Convalescent Home in Covington, where she had been a patient for one year. She had been in ill health the past five years. She was born at Kickapoo, Warren County, on July 5, 1890, the daughter of Newman and Martha Meredith Russell. She had been a resident of Stone Bluff since 1942 and prior to that had been a resident of Warren County all her life. She was married Oct. 8, 1913, at Rensselaer, to Harry Abolt, who survives. He is a retired farmer. She graduated from Attica High School. For several years she was organist at the Methodist Church. She was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church and the Stone Bluff Ladies Aid. Surviving with her husband are two sons, Daniel Abolt, Rt. 4, Veedersburg; Charles Abolt, Oak Lawn, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Rayfield, Hammond; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Maus Funeral Home, with Rev. August Huber officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
